Terms & Conditions
We
are a professional entertainments company providing Mobile Discos and DJ Hire. For
your reassurance we ask you to agree to the following terms and
conditions prior to making your booking;
Quotations & Booking:
We
will agree a price with you prior to the event based on time
requirements, travel, equipment and venue. The quotation is valid for 7
days. The
details will be sent in writing to the client. The client is
responsible for ensuring the details are correct. By signing the Booking
Contract the client is confirming that all details of the booking are
correct. Any errors should be brought to our attention prior to
returning the Booking Contract. We will do our best to accommodate any amendments and send out a new Booking Contract with the revised details.
Booking Deposit:
We
do not require a deposit for your booking. As soon as we receive your
signed Booking Contract your event is considered 'Booked'. Cancellations
will be subject to fees (see below).
Payment:
Payments are required for all bookings two (2) weeks prior to the event date. We will contact you with full details.
Music:
We
have a large number of music tracks, in a wide range of genres. We will
do our very best to ensure the DJ plays the styles of music, and the
specific songs requested at the time of booking. Whilst we will accept
requests on the night, we cannot guarantee to play all songs that are
requested during the event.
Venue Access:
We
will require adequate access to the venue prior to & after the
booking to allow setting up & breaking down of equipment. A minimum
of 60 minutes should be allowed for setting up and 45 minutes for
packing up and vacating the premises. We may wish to visit the venue
prior to the event to ensure access and to confirm details with the
venue staff.
Space:
We normally need an approximate space of 4 x 3
metres. We will provide all our own equipment, so not even a table is
needed. We do our utmost to work with any space constraints there may
be. We respectfully request that your guests do not crowd or ‘linger’
around the DJ booth. Wherever possible, the DJ will have an assistant to
take any special requests or announcements.
Electricity:
The
client is responsible for the provision of a suitable and safe
electricity supply. We require a minimum of two 13-amp mains sockets. We
will provide our own adapters for our equipment. All of our equipment
is regularly PAT Tested, details available on request.
Cancellation by Client:
Any cancellation of a confirmed booking
less than 28 days prior to the booking date will be subject to a charge equivalent to 50% of the total booking charge.
Cancellation less than 10 days prior to the booking is subject to an
additional charge equivalent to 90% of the total booking charge.
Extended Playing Time:
Wherever
possible we will aim to accommodate client's requests for extensions to
playing time. If this is requested at the time of booking we will agree
a fixed price for the entire event, but must be confirmed in writing by
the venue. If you request extended playing time
during the event we will do our best to accommodate this. We will of
course need confirmation from the venue management. This will be subject
to an additional hourly charge.
Licensing:
It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that the venue is suitably licensed for the event.
Health & Safety:
We
are covered for Public Liability, and all of our equipment is regularly
PAT Tested, details available on request*. We will only perform in a
venue that is safe to do so. We should be made aware of fire exits and
fire alarms. We will not set up our equipment in a way that would
prevent access to fire exits, or fire escape routes. Venue staff must be
informed of the number of guests expected to attend the event. If you
would like us to use smoke, dry ice or bubble machines this must be
arranged at the time of booking and the venue must be in agreement with
the use. If at any time before or during the function we deem our
persons or property to be under threat, verbally or physically, we
reserve the right to either suspend or terminate the entertainment
without further notice and without a refund being issued.
Damage
The client will be held responsible for any theft or damage of any equipment caused by guests attending the event.

and videos, if possible, may be obtainable upon request.
Force Majeure
No party shall be liable for any
failure to perform its obligations where such failure is as a result os
acts of nature (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or
other natural disaster), war, terrorist activities, death, illness or
other incapacity certified by a properly qualified medical practitioner,
epidemic, accident, civil commotion, order of Government or Local
Authority having jurisdiction in the matter or changed in law.
Any party asserting Force Majeure so as to negate liability shall have
